I'm doing 13 things
i grew up in a coastal town in california, so i have seen the ocean just about every day of my life. i can’t imagine what it must be like to never have seen it. when i was 12, i went to europe with a group of people from california and minnesota. while driving along the coast in ireland, one of the minnesotans looked out the window and said, “that’s the biggest lake i’ve ever seen!” all the californians laughed because we couldn’t believe she didn’t know it was the ocean…but how would she? she’d never seen it.
