ok so I left my job, because of the reasons written before and from many other reasons.
Actually, I left all jobs for 8 months! I was soo stressed. Now I dont know what I want to go into because of the fallout.

I want to organize all of the file names and ID3 info using Media Monkey (only seen good reviews for it so far).
Also, I want to use Nullsofts new winamp remote service to listen to my music collection from other PCs across the Internet.
I dont think I will be doing this or trying to do it any longer. I have discovered the Mac! The mac mini that I got, “just worked” straight out of the box. I installed VLC and Remote Buddy, and I have an instant media PC, slick and smart as hell.
No setup, no finagling, pure power.
If you are not sure to go fully Linux because of the extreme amount of work involved in MythTV, pony $700 dollars toward a refurbished Mac.
