How I did it: About a year ago I decided to become vegetarian out of respect for animals. I was able to do it for 3 months then slipped up and quit for awhile. I'm back on track now and have been vegetarian for 6 mo. and plan to be for the rest of my life. My family is a big bunch of meat eaters (we're from Texas, land of the BBQs lol) and they didn't understand why I wanted to be vegetarian and didn't really support me in it...so even with… Read how I did it…
How I did it: i've been wanting this tattoo for almost 3 years and decided it was time. if its your first tattoo and you're worried about it hurting it's really not that bad. if you really really love elliott smith then don't be afraid to get one. since i got mine done i've had some people come up to me and say they like elliott smith too. it's pretty cool to find other fans cause not that many people i know have even heard of him. How I did it: I just walked into this place called Opinion Resources. They call people and do surveys. It literally took less than 5 minutes. I was asked a few questions, did a short typing test, got hired and started training the same day. I just started making calls today and was shaking so bad I was hitting the wrong keys on the keyboard. So far I've been hung up on and screamed at by one old lady but once you get over yo… Read how I did it…

A few months ago my grandfather bought me a car so I would be able to go to college. He’s a farmer and has cows, chickens, and a mini horse so when he found out I wanted to become a veterinarian he wanted to help me get to school. Before I sound spoiled you should know he’s bought my cousin 3 cars in 2 years and she’s totaled them all! Oh and did I mention it’s a 94’ green Cougar with a white top? Not the prettiest thing in the world but I’m so thankful. Yay for Cougars! :)
so i was thinking about this goal the other day and it reminded me of something someone else had done. last year, when i was a junior in high school, my art teacher had a friend who had asked her to let a guy he knew, stefan, stay a couple of days in her house because he was passing through the city (sounds sketchy so far…i know lol). turns out the guy staying with her was from the netherlands and was walking across the united states to raise awareness for cancer after his brother was diagnosed with it. she let him come to our class and talk for 2 hours and tell stories about what he’d experienced so far and he had some amazing stories.
so i was thinking if i were to run away for a year, this would be a pretty good excuse and way to do it. and an extra plus, stefan talked about all the things he did to prepare for his trip. hmmm…i don’t know. i’ll have to give it some more thought and plan a lot more. but i’m excited!
