Yesterday, we completed the first batch of hoops – 108 of them – that will go to Tohoku with me in two weeks. I’ll be leading hula hoop workshops and giving hoops to the schools I visit.

I’m two weeks into the goal and have had mixed success. Sunny days are easy because I want to be outside; days that I have things I’d rather not do (housecleaning or paperwork) are harder and so are the days that I have lots of computer-based tasks. But I am renewing my commitment for the next two weeks in hope of a really positive outcome.
