How I did it: basically once i got my fall check, i splurged on two dresses from urban outfitters. then i bought a dress from modcloth, but it looked really frumpy so i returned it. yesterday i went to h&m & bought a dress that looks kind of dour, but the material is so thin i'm pretty sure it would wear in summer. i have a couple friends at college, but for the most part we don’t have that much in common except being girls & living together for a year. it is my dream to find some funny, sarcastic friends who are into sci-fi & pop culture stuff & AREN’T hipsters.

i met tawnee in grayslake, il on memorial day! we watched TNG and saw star trek at the theater. she had awesome cats and art and was super pretty! and nice!
