Absolutely loved Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. So creative, so well done. I hope the boy who starred in the show wins something for his efforts. He played an extraordinary child.

Tree of Life – beautiful cinematography, music. I can see why this was not mainstream. This was an art film that would not appeal to the masses. I don’t think younger people would enjoy it but I am very glad I rented it.
Midnight in Paris – I’ll see anything Woody but Best Picture?? Not.
50/50 – I was thinking this was nominated for something, but I don’t find it on the list. I liked it despite unrealistic happy ending and the young therapist who breaks one of the biggest rules of her profession.
