participate in Script Frenzy
Frequent NaNo participant 17 months ago

I’ve participated in NaNoWriMo the last four years (although only won twice) and am excited to try my hand at Script Frenzy this year! It’s in a great month for me, so hopefully I’ll get it completed. Good luck to everyone else who is going to try with me!

Completed! 17 months ago

I took it today, and thought it went pretty well. I’ll find out the results in about two weeks, though!

read 50 books in 2008
Running start 18 months ago

I started off the year with two books about writing: Words Fail Me by Patricia T. O’Conner and The Tao of Writing by Ralph L. Wahlstrom. I haven’t picked a third one to start yet, but I have quite the list developing!

Like last year, I started my list on Lists of Bests and will be updating it as needed.

My starting point for this year is to get through all the books I own but haven’t read yet. I cleared many of them off the list in 2007, but still managed to find 21 of them on my shelves still! I also have three books that I have to read for a literature class that made it onto the list.

After that, I have a list of about forty books, authors, and series that I want to read. Some are inspired by other lists I’ve adopted on Lists of Bests, some are recommendations from friends, and some are things that I feel like I should have read at some point but never did.

Happy reading, everyone!!
