How I did it: I wanted to do a family adventure and someone suggested whitewater river rafting. There are plenty of rivers within 4-5 hours driving distance. I found several rivers that could accommodate younger children (my youngest is 9). We went in not knowing what to expect and we had so much fun! I took the app off my phone so now I’m not on FB at work or anywhere away from my laptop. I also changed my password to a random long password that I’ll never remember. I e-mailed it to myself so when I want to get on, I do – but only from my home laptop. I spend maybe at most a hour every couple of days. But it’s nowhere near the time I used to spend on it. It helps that I have to focus on other things (school) on the laptop.
