Graduated from school and now, the fun part begins!
I took a 6-week course in April. It gave me an introduction to the basics, whether I take it further is up to my willingness.
Got my marks, 93~ I do feel much more acquainted with Excel than I was in the past and I just need to practice Access over the holidays:
Not an absolute expert, but close!
I was doing so well on this goal until my e-reader broke down. Prays Boxing Day will grant me a tablet

After looking at my humungous wardrobe, the pile of clothes on my bed, the pile of clothes on the floor, the pile of clothes in my laundry hamper: I think it’s time.
PROJECT: warddrobe detox
My future career kind of depends on it, but right now I have a feeling it will be a tough class. I hope I’m wrong :) I just finished some introductory exercises, and got through them ok!
After watching the movie (which I recommend to everybody!), The Help, I decided to read the book on which it was based. It’s alright so far, the “flavour” I guess is different than in the movie. I should read more of it though to make my judgement. According to Kobo, I’m 31% into it!
I decided to finally try Outtakes poutine after having seen it for so many times before watching a movie (Outtakes is a fast food place exclusive to the Cineplex theatres). I went “Conan the Barbarian” on mine, and all I remember is that it was salty, cheesy goodness!

Wow what a gigantic portion! I wish I had a picture to prove it.
Unfortunately I don’t remember much, except that I was ravenous and it was gone in 15 minutes. I’m not sure how it would’ve gone if I was hungry, but I do remember them having fairly decent fries: crisp outside, fluffy insides. Some cheese curds were a bit lukewarm when it first arrived. Gravy was gravy :O

They had many flavours which you could choose to top the classic fries, cheese, and gravy. My boyfriend had lobster and shrimp toppings, and I had the 5 spices chili chicken!
They were alright, although with this poutine, I’ve cemented my thoughts on flavoured poutine – they just don’t compare to the classic!
It really tasted like I was eating chili fries, no hint of poutine at all. (Mr. Nom Nom’s tornado fries in sour cream & onion were better IMO!)

My birthday was a few days ago, and just to see how many of my firends actually remembered it, I took off my birthdate from Facebook. I got maybe 5 birthday wishes? Not that Facebook should be a barometer of how many friends you have, but it’s just disappointing because I tend to make a point of remembering friend’s birthdays and wishing them so, or attending their parties, getting them gifts.
Ehhhh… :(
Was good, given the ingredients: stringy cheese, decent fries, overly salty gravy makes for a…
6.5/10 poutine
As a graduation present, I received an e-reader! :) This means a lighter bag, as well as preloaded classics for 24-7 reading material. I am soooooo happy I got this!
This goal will definitely help me in the completion of this goal. :D

Just finished this… And loved it: prostitutes, late 19th century, French decadence, what’s not to love?!
Steamy lens from heat of pan, after scooping myself a generous portion!
Another fairly random dish, using items already in my fridge and seasoning in my cupboard. It was very informal.
2 dashes of sesame oil
2 dashes of sriracha
1 tbsp of salt
1 tbsp of minced garlic
1 tbsp of shredded dried pork
few pieces of leftover smoked salmon
5 eggs
6 cups of old rice
Since my month-long vacation, I’ve been very bad about comign to meetings. And with summer internships, it may be time to find another club which suits my schedule better.
