Do those that have used Becker to study for FAR…did you feel Becker explained the topics well?

For instance, I am studying Marketable Securities, etc. HFT to AVS to HTM makes no sense to me whatsoever. I am not sure what resources are best if you have no idea where to start. I am learning this for the very first time.

Please advise.

Could someone please tell me the name of the lecturer for the Becker FAR CDs?

I am seriously struggling with creating a study schedule.

I am currently studying FAR (just started, in fact) and plan to take the exam as far down the road as October. I have been out of grad school 8 years now and am honestly having to learn everything all over again.

Might anyone have suggestions on how many hours I should be studying every week (weeknight/weekend)?

I already wake-up at 5 AM to exercise and it is tricky to get much studying done in the morning before work.

In the evenings, after work, I am absolutely exhausted. Not an excuse, just a fact of life. I can probably try and cram 2 hours in at most.

I can make the time over the weekend but just do not know how much is enough or too much studying (I guess too much is never enough!). And, of course, I get distracted with errands, etc.

Help?
