While I was a teenager I suffered from acne. I tried many different products and the one that stuck the most were the ones that contained tea tree. This forms the basis of my inspiration. After last summer I switched to a Lush cleansing bar and seen effective results. Because of this I want to try and switch my beauty products to natural ones.
So far I have shower gel, soap, hand cream, moisturiser, bath bombs and body scrub. All have been amazing so far.
Last year one of my goals was to cut down on ready-meals and processed foods, which I effectively managed. This goal is now just an extension of that :)

I can’t claim to be much of a girly girl. I was glamorous/had a face full of make-up when I was thirteen/fourteen. But this was more to do with being an insecure teenager rather than someone who was passionate about make-up art. These days I am very confident about leaving the house with no make-up, but when I’m going out at night I do still like to make an effort. I can come across as mildly tomboyish in my every day life which then leads to people being surprised when I do slap on some eyeshadow. But due to my teenage years as a make-up whore, I am still able to recreate some looks to a fairly decent standard.
However I cannot call myself an expert. Two areas I definetly need to work on are eye make-up & creating a good base. These, at least, are the two areas I’ll work on first.
This goal has no obvious finishing point, but shall be completed whenever I feel like I’ve walked out the house looking like I spent the last two hours in a salon when in fact I did it all myself.

Recently I mastered the art of creating a simple omelette without a recipe book.
The fact that making an OMELETTE from scratch was a big achievement for me just shows how much I rely on recipe books.
N.B. I’ve always been decent at cooking it’s just that my need for a recipe book is ridiculous.
