At first, I was wondering how a night owl like myself would wake up in the morning happy. I go to bed at 2 a.m, so waking up at 6 a.m sounded like a morning-mare to me, especially since my son started school and I had to wake up to an alarm.
Now not anymore. I wake up early and happy, not cranky like I used to. It’s all because I changed the beeping sound of my alarm to good music—a German song, from Unheilig titled Winter (or Winterland? I’m too careless to look at song titles). This song is so relaxing that I feel like my soul is a feather floating across some blue lake, to harbor on the kiss of some pine leave that’s drenched in sparkling dew drops. And I smile just picturing that in my head.
