see snow
Beautiful, but a pain 3 years ago

I can’t imagine Christmas/winter without the tonnes of snow we get every year here in Nova Scotia. It just wouldn’t be the same.

This year has been very dry, and while I’ve enjoyed the slightly warmer weather, I kind of miss the snow. Shovelling sucks, getting soaked sucks, and it can be very inconvenient… but work being cancelled is great, and it’s a bit better to see everything white than the gross gray mudness.

Go see snow if you haven’t yet. Go to a ski resort for a few days – you’re lucky that you can go see it and then get away from it!

get better at speaking in public
Be Prepared 3 years ago

For me, public speaking comes down to one thing: being prepared.

If you have worked hard on your presentation, practiced it 15 times on your own or to friends or to your cat, you will be in a much better headspace to get through it.
