Resuming your previous profession after law school can be a way to keep yourself established there. But, in the long run, practicing law is essential to keep what you learned in law school. At least practice for a few years.

Taught an introductory class to Freshmen & Sophomore students. Really one of the most powerful and rewarding experiences of my adult life. Highly recommended to those qualified to do so.
Passed Texas! Tough, but very worthwhile. Now to get my practice going….
Should I do this with Word and keep it private or WordPress for the world to see?
This kind of change transformed my life. I started doing this in early 1990. I can truly say it is worth it, and I’ll put it on my “I want to do this again” list because I wanto to do it again, and again, and every day that I can as long as my mind is clear and I am sufficiently able-bodied.
Each morning I go through a short checklist of items to help me start my day. Most recently I added in a few stretches as soon as I leave me bed. Then I weigh, check the news, etc. During this process I build my plan for the day. I check what I did yesterday, my calendar, and so on.
I can’t say that I’ve become ‘perfect’ or that every day is wonderful. Still, this process of ‘consciously creating my day’ has become one of the most important things in my life. I also do a ‘review of the day’ to see how I did, just before bed….
Been a long time since I did this. One of my favorite memories, though. Given the chance, you should do this and do it for as long as you can stand it. You’ll probably never forget this.
Up to 38K but running out of steam! Geez, I hope I can get the next 12K so that I can FINISH by deadline! :-) Sigh.
Made it to 38K words, but I’m running out of steam. I hope I can crank out another 12K+ words by deadline!
I want to focus on better quality on less goals. I think I’ll let this one go until 2007 or 2008.
My goal was to get EVERYthing out of the cardboard boxes. I’ve done that. A few things are in plastic totes, and some things need to be thrown away. But, at least I’ve made progress!
I think that LIGHT is the key. Alarm clocks (based on sound) never worked so well for me. First thing in the morning: sunshine, bright lights, anything to stay awake.
I’m not really giving up on this, but I think the goal might have been a little premature. Maybe next year, or the year thereafter. Who knows?
Just didn’t do this. I think a shorter term goal might be a better idea.
Very worthwhile, but watch out for holidays, vacations, and “friends”... ...these three key sources of “temptation” can undo what you’ve done. “Potluck” suppers & lunches are the worst.
Gotta plan, Plan, PLAN to do this, and then stick with it even when you are stuck at 23 lb.s lost! Definitely have to track food at EVERY meal to make this goal! :-)
Took a few months to make this happen. But, FINALLY, I’ve gotten myself to be up about 6AM on a regular basis. Wow! It helps me to focus and get things done early in the day. Recommended! :-)
...getting very close to finally completing this. Totally out of cardboard now, and wanting to fully delete any clutter in plastic totes.
This can be a tough goal! :-)
