Run a mile without stopping (read all 19 entries…)
Finally just went and "did it"

This was a mental thing more than anything else, having to conquer something (an exact route, actually) that I could never seem to manage in middle school. Gladly able to strike this off the list.

Was it worth it? Yes – in the sense that I never have to do it again. :) I have found out that this body is much happier biking than it is running. The knees thank me for learning this.

Getting quite comfortable with Ruby...

... haven’t done anything at all with the Rails part. I guess that’s for websites… should I ever feel the great desire to create my own from scratch, as I once did but honestly don’t have right now.

Not sure what to do with this goal for right now….

try sushi (read all 2 entries…)
yup I did it

Tried veg. Tried cooked. Tried raw fish. All over a period of a couple of years. Learning what I like what I don’t, but on the whole I’m enjoying the experiment turned regular food event. Even taking friends out this week for sushi and somehow I’ve become more adventurous than them!

What made the difference for me was reading about the health risks versus safety of the raw elements. Then it slowly rolled out from there.

This one is done!
