If you’re like me, and you love to browse book stores but usually come out with a dent in your wallet from the temptations of the “This week’s Choice” table and the alluring 3 for 2 offers, then www.readitswapit.co.uk is for you.
Prune your shelves of reference books to which you no longer refer, and fiction which you’ve read but to which you won’t return and add them to your library and swap them for items that you’ve been meaning to read for ages.
Pop it in the post second class and wait for your return package – it’s like Amazon but with postage only!
Once you’ve read the book, you can add it to your library again. Some people use it with bookcrossing to let their books free! Either way, it allows you to make room for more knowledge on your bookshelves!

Radio rocks

Video did indeed kill the radio star. The advantage radio has over tv is huge. We are lucky in the UK to have the BBC and it’s awesome. I am never without something interesting to tune into and I can learn more from my radio than my newspaper while carrying on with my day.
