Starting working at as a teenager after being diagnosed with a degenerative spinal disease (which is now fixed thanks to good health + proper surgery). Have kept it up for over 10 years. I can honestly say that regular exercise helps you in so many ways you’d never imagine including:
- Stress Relief
- Feeling good about your body/self
- Better sex life
- (For me anyhow) A form of personal time to reflect
- Part of a healthy lifestyle
I see so many people that are so focused on their careers, family and the everyday stresses of life that they just let their bodies go. Human beings weren’t meant to sit in traffic and in front of computer screens all day (I’m saying this and I’m a computer programmer working in a heavily populated east coast city). A little exercise on a regular basis will help bring your mindy, body and spirit back into harmony. The trick is finding out how to partition your life so that you can set aside that time on a regular basis.
The more money I make, the harder this goal seems to get…
I’m going to have to qualify it as well…15% POST-TAX….pretax is just damn near impossible…
