I turned 43 this year! :)
Really! You gotta be kidding me. Seems like just yesterday I was a 20 something.
Well, it means I must have been busy living: right? I didn’t see it sneaking up to me. Last year’s theme was CELEBRATE.

This year, I continue the same theme. I choose not to think of life any other way. But, I anticipate a lot of changes and challenges, so I thought about this year’s theme for a bit and came up with a slew of “C” words that I created on wordle

My children are my topmost priority. In practical terms, this means I need to concentrate on my career to provide a good life for my family. I expect changes in the job front and I think that this “perceived” tough period I am going through is actually going to get me out of my comfort zone and lead to good things. I need the courage to embrace the change and do my BEST. Community is more and more on my mind: The Cheers theme song “Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name” completely resonates with me. I did like to get involved with my local community. I wish to remain calm through the anticipated transitions. To keep stress levels under control, I hope to continue running with magical Cardiocoach.
I will remind myself to remain cheerful. I wish to remain compassionate at all times, to not get jaded by the ups and downs of life. And last but not the least, I will CELEBRATE life every single day because Life is Good!

Thank you to each and every one of you who “celebrate” with me every year. It really means a lot to me and makes me very happy.

Flirtie: I know you are having fun in Maryland. You better remember to come back and send me the bestest ever celebratory image here :). Thank you sweetie for you never-ending party-spirit.

I had a great day with my family, ate decadent food and cake. I will post another entry later, I am a bit posted out today (I haven’t posted so much in a long time, but I had to give poor Todd a break.. he tries hard to reciprocate my cheers and cannot find any writing material from me).
