I used to have a great long term memory. I associated a lot of my memories however with items.. nick naks in my room. Most of which I have gotten rid of over the years. Which I feel may have been like throwing out my long term memory. I have terrible terrible difficulty bringing up any bit ok knowledge, stories about my past, dates, even the age I was for important events in my life and it is rather frustrating. And it only seems to be getting worse. I can retain the oddest most inconsequential things but anything mildly important will only pop up now and again and never when needed. My first step is to figure out how to clean up my memory files and work with the memories I already have before working on the skills needed to memorize new things.

I joined this group actually currently playing rugby. However my season is over at the end of next week and before the fall season starts I will be moving cross country. From the DC area to Sacramento. I am worried about finding a good Rugby Club to join out there and even more so about getting health insurance so that I can play without worrying about getting hurt. What fun is rugby if you can;t play hard. Sooo. to be pro-active I have joined this a bit early so I can allready have it as one of my set goals post-move.
The other day I tried to meditate for the first time in atleast a year. I must say it was very hard to relax and clear my mind. I was barely able to do it and once I had it lasted such a short period of time before I got quite ansy. It was an odd sensation. I am not sure if other people have had trouble going back to meditation after a long heitus but I plan on trying again and again until I can atleast free myself from the world for more then 5 minutes.
