- Consuming copious amounts of fruit (an entire bag of cherries, a peach, and a plum
- Having an extremely attractive man (Very black, very handsome) come into the Monk and banter with me
- Drinking so much water I can feel my body being cleansed
- Waking up to an empty house in a quiet morning
- Having fresh strawberries for breakfast
- Sitting down with the newspaper by myself for a leisurely morning read.
- Baking a cake – and apple crisp, and twice-baked potatoes, and pork tenderloin and asparagus and eating it in the living room, watching “Hercules” with Mom and my little sister
- Knowing that Cassie is such a great friend.
- Cassie gave me her bracelet to wear before I left for the flight (we won’t see each other for almost two months)
- The flight to Montréal
- Reading a TON on the flight
- Seeing Colombe, Morgan, Melinda and Justin again.
- Justin is the best little boy in the whole wide world.
- Recovering from jet lag.
- Going into Montréal City with Colombe, Morgan and my family.
- Walking up to the viewing plateau of Mount Royal Park.
- Shopping on Ste. Catherine St.!
- Colombe bought me the most amazing shoes!
- Getting to re-meet some of the family from my dad`s side.
- Having the most amazing cake made by Mamignon, made with green tomatoes, of all things!
- Playing Dance Dance Revolution on Wii with Melinda and Taryn.
- Spending the evening with my cousin Dominique, her husband Rick and all their friends.
- Talking hockey with Habs fans
- Getting to know my family from Québec
