This is a sad, sad time… however, I still must reflect for the past two days.
On Sunday was more of a re-trial than brand spanking new… I went fishing! I’ve done this in my much younger days (circa 2000), and there really are no definite memories, so I decided to go ahead and give it another whirl. I went with my dad, brothers, and grandpa down to a river near where my grandparents were staying. There were quite a few bits, but the big winner of the day was my 7-year old little brother! I’m so proud of him!
Today is more of one of those “growing up” things, but I placed my first online order all by myself! I didn’t ask my mom for help (or permission, mwuahaha), and everything worked out just fine. Plus, I got some Charlotte Russe clothes out of the deal (:
So, that is the end of my adventure for this goal. It’s been pretty fun, and hopefully I can do it again next summer, but for the whole summer! Bon voyage til next year!!

Just did them – almost forgot! Dad’s fallen off the bandwagon, and I’m pretty sure Mom has too. What a shame… That’s not going to stop me though! Abs of steel, here I come!

Last night/this morning combined were a pretty monumental first… I pulled an all-nighter. Not the best idea when you’re trying to get into a routine, but, c’est la vie. So here’s the story…
Last night my grandparents came into town and we had a very nice dinner at TGI Fridays (very fitting, considering it was Friday). Just as a side note, I stole some of the pecan crusted chicken from my dad’s salad – loved it!! Anyway, we get home and my older brother and I both have texts from our friend Connor. I had been bugging him for a while about having a poker party, so he suggested we had it that night. Drew (my brother) was being moody and said he just wanted to watch 9. However, a few minutes into trying to convince him, I get another text saying “That’s it, I’m coming over and I’d better be let in.” Sure enough, he was at our doorstep within two minutes. Even that wasn’t enough to sway Drew off of the couch, so Connor invited three more guys over. That did the trick. So we had fun, and by 2:30 that morning, everybody was starting to leave. But then the Kirkland twins’ mom calls and says it is “too dangerous for them to drive home so late”. So you know what that means… sleepover. Needless to say, my dad wasn’t too thrilled about having his daughter spend the night with her brother and two other guys. So instead of ruining the fun, our only option was to stay awake. And what they say is true – everything is funnier at 4 in the morning (: At six we all decided to crash (yes, I slept ALONE in MY bed). It was soo much fun, and I will never forget that night: my first all-nighter. So, since that task occupied two days, I think it’s safe to say it counted as two days’ worth of novelty.
I shall post twice more before completing my goal – stay tuned to find out what I end up doing next!
