I love hugging. I wish I was an octopus, so I could hug ten people at a time.

wow. I just watched the youtube video from the post below.
And it made me smile. I want to do this. A lot.

Live everyday like it is my last
Life is for living

This links in with so many of my other things on my list. But I thought recently, anything could happen. Absolutely anything.

Pretty Colours!

I saw this on the news tonight. And it looked amazing. It’s something I really really want to do, but it’s one of the things I doubt I will achieve. But that’s what life is about, having dreams.

identify 100 things that make me happy. (read all 3 entries…)
Untitled

It made me feel so happy at the end of it. Just to know I’m so lucky to have all the things I have. Was hard and I got stuck at various points, but it’s worth sticking at it.

Learn to say no (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled

This kinda ties in with me trying to be decisive.
I never dare say no. I don’t want to annoy other people. I really do struggle saying no a lot of the time. And I’ve realised that if I just said no in the first place a lot of things would be easier. It’d stop me annoying people because instead of saying yes then backing out of something, I’d just say no. I suppose I need to respect what I want sometimes.

participate in 100 words (read all 3 entries…)
Good Idea

Accidentally came across this. And it sounds like a great idea. Not sure if I’ll still think that in a month. But for now, I look forward to it.

make a list of 100 quotes that inspire me (read all 2 entries…)
I love...

Quotes. Not sure why. I was upset one day. And I started looking at them. And they cheer me up. Even if I look at depressing ones, they somehow improve my mood. Is weird. Either way. I’ve got hundreds both on my computer and on paper that I’ve collected over the last few years. I plan to organise them. Add to them. And more importantly, have a Top 100 that I’ll be able to read when I’m down. Though half of me thinks that finding new ones is all part of the fun.

do something nice for someone every day (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled

I like this one. Being able to make someone smile is great. I reckon if everyone in the world looked out for everyone else, life would be a lot nicer. And I’m not expecting to change the world just by helping someone everyday, but surely me doing it brings it one person closer? Even small things, they make the difference. Sort of pay back to all the times I’ve been helped.

Find the title of a children's book I only remember the plot of. (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled

I don’t really remember the plot. I just remember one point of it. It’s a girl, and she decided to find something positive in every negative situation she comes across. It’s one of the things on my list of things to do. Thought I’d find the book title too.

find the positive side of a bad situation (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled

I kinda half remember reading about a girl doing this in a book. Not sure which. But it ties in with my list of positive points of each day. Instead of focussing on how bad the situation is I’m going to try and start finding at least one thing that’s good because of the negative situation.

list one thing every day that was positive (read all 3 entries…)
Untitled

I think this is a really good idea especially for someone like me. I always seem to be negative. So I think I’m going to buy a notebook and it will be my book of positive points. Then I can read them when I’m down and remember how much fun life is.

be more decisive
Untitled

I’m reallly really really indecisive. And it’s so annoying. I usually end up just saying I’ll go with what other people want because I don’t want to pick something that not everyone is happy with. I want to start saying what I feel and being decisive about things.

watch the IMDB Top 250 movies (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled

Decided to do this because I guess it’ll help me with my media work. And it’ll keep me off the internet. I printed off a list today so I can cross things off. So far, I’ve seen…16. Quite a while to go I’m thinking.

43 things (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled

I want to have 43 things on here. At all times. Not sure why. Or what I’ll have. But I always seem to find things when I come on here.

Reach £25 on Dubit (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled

This is a website, where you get paid about 50p for each survey and there’s usually one or two a week. Once you get to £25 you get the money. I’m at £22.50.

add an entry to everything on my 43 things list (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled

Almost there. Three more to do. I think, when I complete my wanting to have 43 things on the list I’ll have achieved this one too.

accept compliments more easily
Untitled

I’m forever denying compliments. And it’s silly. Cos it annoys me when people deny themselves of compliments. So from now on I’m just gonna smile and say thank you. Or at least, that’s the plan. Who knows, maybe I’ll actually start to believe them.

Go away for a romantic weekend
Untitled

I wanna do this with my boyfriend. Before he goes to Uni. It’ll give me something to look forward to with him rather than waiting for the day he leaves.

stop trying to be a perfectionist at everything. Nobody is perfect
Untitled

Something I really do need to do. I’m terrible at trying to be perfect. And I hate myself over so many things just cos I can’t do it perfectly. So I’ve decided I need to start to realise that being perfect isn’t all that great. If anything it’s boring.
