it is something that has been worth doing… though it wasn’t so much the asking as the waiting and the patience that won out. i’ll fly south to help him pack in a matter of weeks – and then he’s home for good.

I do this regularly – am working my way up to having given a full gallon of blood. Heck, for the “free” donuts and the occasional free coupons for various goodies (and the good karma!) why wouldn’t you if you could?

Don’t know if this counts, but I’m doing cards of my own design this year – I drew little holiday-related pictures on white paper, wrote a little newsletter for the inside, and now I’m in the middle of hand coloring each card. I figure if I color in 10/day I’ll be set to write notes in them next week.
Super cheap way to go, too – the copying was a breeze and it came out looking quite homemade ;)
