Message from a self-destructing turnip 10 months ago

One day in our garden a turnip spoke to me. It said that it had tired of its futile existence and it was going to destroy itself. Naturally I tried to make it aware of the joys of life, read a little poetry and sang a few songs. It felt better for it, thanked me for my time and looked forward to a long and fruitful life.
