things that go bump in the night 2 years ago

my ex (who’s almost blind without his glasses) and i were sleeping underneath a tree one night on the top of a large hill. in the wee dark hours of morning i awoke to an incredibly large green illuminted shooting star. seen through the branches of the tree made it look like we were about to be its landing place. i awoke my ex so that he could enjoy the sight. unfortunately, he doesn’t wake well and wasn’t wearing his glasses. all he could see was that the tree was on glowing with an unearthly green hue. he started shouting that the world was going to end and getting a little hysterical. it was some time before i could convince him that it was just a shooting star.

i’ve been trying. and for awhile, i did pretty damn good. but when you love baking, and are in the middle of a move- to a place that abounds in vegan sweets…..well….i simply MUST sample every new thing out there. then there’s the problem of re-sampling….
