Two reasons, one minor, one major:

Minor Reason: Because they do a damn good MA Design course that I would like to study.

Major Reason: It’s mention in the second line of ‘Common People’ by Pulp (“She came from Greece, she had a thirst for knowledge/She studied sculpture at St Martins college”)

Good reasoning I thought.
