How I did it: I love maths and physics. In these areas people speak and think about very simple systems that become complex. I always heard go has very simple rules, but it is very difficult to play well. The great chess player Edward Lasker said once "While the Baroque rules of Chess could only have been created by humans, the rules of Go are so elegant, organic, and rigorously logical that if intelligent life forms exist elsewhere in the universe, th… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I have studied Physics, but I always liked science in general, and I knew that, to feel fulfilled, I had to be part of an interdisciplinary team.A few months before finishing my degree in physics, I started to check several laboratories that worked in something related to bioinformatics. After having checked several options, I realised that the most interesting was a laboratory about proteomics in Madrid. Even if I preferred to live in a n… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had a lot of time in summer, so I picked up a book from the local library about that interesting language I had heard about when I was too busy with highschool homework.I just started teching myself Esperanto, which was not difficult, as it is very easy: no exceptions, fexible, regular spelling and easy vocabulary (when you don't know the word for something, you can create a word just using the roots and suffixes you already know). As I… Read how I did it…

What a piece of luck! I have found this specimen of 1 euro coin from Luxembourg yesterday. A classmate gave it to me to pay for a beer, and I just checked the coin as I usually do.
Usually coins here are always Spanish coins (not surprisingly, I am in Spain), and checking that does not seem very fruitful. But from time to time, I am lucky, so it is worthy ;)
I am not writing a lot on this goal, but I am working really hard about it. I mean, it would not be that hard if it were the only thing I have to do, but I am working at the lab as well, which leaves very few time for other things in my life for the moment.
However, combining Physics and Biology is really interesting. It is very rewarding to see how many things I understand now, so every moment I spend here is a good one.
Hope to mark it as done by February.
