I’ve been married this time for 9 years and last time for 13 years. In 24 years of marriage I have never found it easy to socialize with other couples. Of course it doesn’t help that this time around I’m gay and last time I wasn’t. It’s hard for four people to get along, there’s alot of dynamic going on. Also, this neighborhood of mine is a tough place to find other lesbian couples. They’re out there, but where?

Magazines are like reading appetizers, they get you really revved for the main course, books. However a side effect of magazine reading is that all your time for reading goes into magazines. I keep on forgetting what’s going on in the book I was reading. I hate that.
A Neighborhood

I want to live somewhere that I really like living in. Where you know your neighbors and you have parties together. A place that’s good looking with lots of things people like in a neighborhood: a movie theater, good bookstore, parks. Does this sound juvenile? I think sometimes that every good thing like this, like a good neighborhood, just exists in Canada and not here. When the kids are grown, I’ll have to find this neighborhood even if it’s Canada.
