I’ve been playing the piano since my youth. Although I can read music (slowly), I prefer to just play whatever comes into my head. I also like to make stuff up.
When I’ve had a stressfull day, I love to just come home and play. It’s very relaxing.

PHP is great and all, and there are some truly amazing PHP MVC frameworks out there (particularly Mojavi) but after looking at Rails, I can confidently say I’m done with PHP.
Ruby seems more elegant, and the Rails MVC framework looks like it will make application development ridiculously easy, with fewer hoops to jump through.
It’s time for a new language anyway.
It was difficult to learn at first, but I quickly developed a strategy that worked:
My parents have a front porch supported by pillars spaced approximately 8 feet apart. I would prop myself up on the unicycle while holding on to one pillar and strive to reach the next pillar (and grab on for dear life) before falling. Back and forth I went, from pillar to pillar, until I got the hang of it.
Much like learning to ride a bicycle, once you learn it, you never really forget.
One of the best things? When you get really good, you can pedal backwards.
