I finished this two years ago and I thought it would be fun to look back and see if I’m still living clutter-free. I have to say… yes. Ok, not 100%, but pretty good!
I’ve moved house a couple of times in this period, but now I’ve bought somewhere and have settled in, the temptation would be to start accumulating stuff again. But I’ve been really good and not done this. Sure, I’ve bought stuff for my new flat but it’s been stuff I actually needed and when I buy stuff like clothes and shoes, I make sure to try and throw old some old stuff at the same time. I’ve just realised I used the word ‘stuff’ four times in that last sentence, which is perhaps a very healthy way to look at it all; at the end of the day it is just stuff and there’s no reason to keep hold of it if it’s in the way and is of no use to me.
