I’ve been doing this for a year. The ‘bangs’ are now chinlength- but I still don’t consider that to be grown out yet. They keep falling out of my ponytail, it’s a bit annoying… But it’s gotten MUCH better already. I think I’ll consider this done once they really stay in my ponytail/updo…

I’m from Switzerland and live there as well. Therefore English is not my native language.
I think taking that into account my English is already quite good, and it’s something I’m proud of because I’ve learned it all by myself (watching movies, clips, listening to songs and reading books…), BUT: I have an american accent since the shows I’ve first watched were american… I like my american accent, but I want to be able to speak with a british accent as well, it can be very pretty and elegant (or extremely annoying, but so can american…)
And since there are some british people I admire a lot (like oscar wilde, pete doherty and carl barat, for example) I want to get this accent. I’ll just listen to british people a lot =)
I’ve known a few people I’ve had great conversations with, these people are rare, but really worth the wait.
The person I’ve had the very best conversations of my life with was Julia. I really loved her, it was something beyond friendship, but not romance either… platonic love is probably what best defines it.
Actually, we still love each other, even though we don’t have much contact anymore. We just write occasionally. I think I’ll always love her, if just for the great memories.
And I really, really want to meet someone like her again.
