knit knit knit!
Untitled 3 years ago

The weather is cooling down and my knitting habit is back in full force. I’ve got three projects going on right now. One is a sweater I started about a year ago. The second is a shawl I started knitting in the summer. The newest is a bag that I started to make out of yarn in my stash and then when I went to Micheal’s to buy the right size needles I found a very cool self striping yarn that totally matches the color of the yarn from my stash so now I an in the process of making a very cute, more interestingly patterned felted bag than I originally intended to.
Probably should start on the holiday present knitting as soon as it hits October. Hand-knitted socks for everyone!

Talk about ridiculous... 3 years ago

I wrote my last entry about this 49 weeks ago. 49 weeks!! That’s three weeks shy of an entire year. And I am still not divorced! Can you believe it?
That trial (oh yes, there was one) was held mid-June. I called the court two weeks ago to find out what the status of the case is. She told me the order wasn’t ready yet and to talk to my lawyer the next time I wanted to check on the case. Why should I have her do it and bill me $200/hour for it when i can pick up the phone and ask all by myself?

earn more
piece meal but getting there? 4 years ago

I’ve started doing bookkeeping for my uncle’s business. It’s flexible and part-times so that’s good, but it’s not a permanent solution to anything. Well, anyway more money in the bank will be a good thing.
