I casually came out to someone on my new project today, with whom I work very closely. We have a good relationship and I mentioned that I would be leaving at a reasonable hour on Tuesday (Valentine’s Day) because my girlfriend and I have plans. He just said, ‘well there you go’ and later said we should make sure my calendar for that whole afternoon is free. It felt good! Hopefully I’ll get further out later on.

How I did it: From the at 120 (Dec 2010) to now only 50 took a lot of watching. There were plenty of films added to the list in that time, as well as a few removed after only having started. And the rest I simply watched. In this time, I've seen 246 films! Read how I did it…
How I did it: It took me a long time to decide to mark this as done, and I'm still not entirely sure, because there are always things to fix in work, as in life. But the important thing is that I was in a particular situation I didn't like that wasn't great for my career or happiness - and I got out of that situation, and eventually found myself a different one. It's early days in what I'm doing now but I'm learning useful things and developing new ski… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I jumped 43m off the Kawarau Bridge near Queenstown, NZ - the first commercial bungy jumping site in the world. I'd been thinking about this since before going to NZ but wasn't sure if I'd be up for it. Queenstown was near the end of the trip. I paid for the jump on Saturday and booked it for the next day, only to have my partner get minor injuries while mountain biking on Sunday. Fortunately I was able to reschedule for Monday morning. I… Read how I did it…
