fantastic. not only is all my music now on an external hard drive, it’s ALL on my IPOD. Backed up in 2 places. Took the CD’s and am storing them away in a little box. The jewel cases filled up 3 boxes and i found a company that recycles them. Living in a small apartment means smaller + better.
Highly recomended.

you’ve got a serious deadline. people may or may not show. you’re completely stressed out. you hopefully get your pieces done in time and throw it up on the wall. catch your breath, gulp some wine. . and here come the people. They want you to tell them about your work. You’ve just spent months. . maybe years with these pieces and now you’ve gotta justify their existance.
Honestly, i find the whole process exhausting. . .kinda like a wedding. . lots of work, high expectations, lots of people that you want to spend time talking to – but there’s just too many. Bless ‘em, they came to support you and seem genuinely interested in your work, but. ..
you know what i think it is? It’s just a little too much about the artist and less about the work on the walls. When my work’s up I want it to speak for its self. Or maybe i only want it to speak to me.
you always hear people say that the teacher learns just as much as the student.. . but you don’t realize how true it is until you hold a class.
Other bene’s of teaching:
it really reinforces, to yourself, that you DO know what you’re talking about. All that education was not for naught.
The best part: watching someone “get it”. There’s a moment when you can see someones eyes light up and you know they understand what you’ve been trying to teach them.
I think teaching helps you to learn the different ways people learn – i know it helped me figure out how i learn.
