Maybe just a weekend trip, but I want to make sure I am in no rush to get back.

What is holding me back?

-money
-the state of my car
-I only have 8 hours of vacation saved up
-I want company and most of my friends are too busy to schedule something like this

I should probably go it alone.

I became a Mary Kay consultant, for the discount. When I was signing up to be a consultant, they evaded answering my questions, and failed to give me all the information.

In the end I felt lied to, pressured and harassed.

You have to buy $200+ of product every time you place an order, so unless you usually spend that much on products for yourself, you might want to rethink doing it for the discount. I still have product left and it has been about 6 years since I stopped giving MK Cosmetics my money.

Make sure you ask questions and get the whole story before you give them any money. It is helpful and useful for some women, but it was not for me.

I just learned to knit, and what helped me the most was getting a book from the library called, “Teen Knitting Club”.

I thought that a book geared at kids would be easiest to understand, and would have more modern patterns in it. I was right.

It’s only been 2 months and already I’ve finished a handful of projects, learned several different stitches, and am able to adjust a pattern to suit my own size/gauge. I’m knitting on straight and circular needles, as well as double-pointed.
