How I did it: I took an all-day lesson with a bunch of other first-time snowboarders. The instructor was great, and i LOVED the others in my class/group/thing. i’m only 106 pounds, after all. far from fat. but i eat the most unhealthy stuff, and i do better with goals that are more definite. like, i can’t just say ‘eat healthy’ because i’d never know when to say i’m done! so lose 5 pounds is a good thing to shoot for, i think.
