Starting with the right lens 4 years ago

I’ve been extremely happy with my D70, but now I really want to buy the 70-300mm lens. Anyone thinking about buying their first SLR should give serious thought to what sort of subjects they’ll most shoot. I find myself at the far end of my kit 18-70mm most of the time.

I can't smoke anymore 4 years ago

I tried to smoke a cigarette a couple of weeks ago. I couldn’t. I took two hits, started coughing, and snubbed it out. I don’t even want to smoke anymore.

Ordered Nikon D70 4 years ago

I ordered a Nikon D70 on Saturday. It should arrive this week. I thought seriously about the Rebel XT, but there’s something about the Nikon sample images that appeals to me a lot more. Maybe it’s just that the Nikon comes with a better kit lens.
