Yes, I got my cast off Monday, YEAH!!!! I am a bit sore but otherwise fine. I am not allowed to skate for two more months. I still plan on going to practice and doing what I can. I am very happy to be cast free, I took a long bubblebath immediately!

Yes I was trying to jump up with my skates on. I jumped up just fine but landed very wrong. I snapped my lower fibula, about 2 inches up from the ankle. It was a clean break but a break none the less. I am in a cast for 2 or 3 more weeks. I was not able to walk for 3 and 1/2 weeks, awful awful awful! I am scared but defintely planning on returning to practice when the cast comes off. I just won’t be jumping for a while!
