How I did it: my work involves travel there. because of my job, i visited the company we work with in chennai. &nbs… Read how I did it…
How I did it: planned it as a day trip, got the directions from google maps and went. we packed peanut butter and honey sandwiches (i ate mine on the way there...) and we arrived, walked the path back to the Stupa, took pictures and had a really great day of it. Read how I did it…
visited in oct 2007 first time. pine aroma all around, lightly misty/rainy day [odd for colorado for those who know.. but perfect for my visit], the stupa was magnificent, my thoughts were: odd contrast to the greens and soft flora surrounding the stupa, yet this is what life is like…full of contrasts..; there was a conference going on so there were many people there … but it certainly was not ‘crowded’. i sensesd ‘self-importance’ surrounding some of the individuals in my humbling trip there and it’s odd that this comes to mind…again, a contrast. overall was a good experience, worth the beautiful drive there, and i hope to go again this week.
