I’ve finished “The Farewell Party” by Milan Kundera, who is one of my favorite authors. I’m currently reading “Aleph” by Paulo Coelho and “Dominion: The Poer of Man, The Suffering of Animals, and The Call to Mercy” by Matthew Scully. “Dominion” is a pretty heavy book on a subject which I feel very strongly about, so sometimes I need breaks from reading it, but it is extremely informative and well-written.

I am going for the first time today to the Chicago Zen Center for a meditation session! I am so excited.
I have finally found an amazing veterinary clinic where I can see myself staying for a very long time. Family Pet Animal Hospital is such a welcoming place, and the staff is truly caring. They practice great medicine, and there are so many fantastic teachers on their staff. I am excited to be a part of their team and start my veterinary career with them. <3
