On December 15th 2012 I obtained my master of science in systems engineering. So excited, and glad that it is all over. It took two full years…I made one mediocre grade that I’m not particularly proud of the rest were As, but considering all that went on in my life in the past year…i can’t be too mad.

How I did it: A group of us planned on doing, and I signed up! We got a cabin in the mountains and made a girls trip out of it. I didn't get to train like I would have liked but I survived. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I have looked at many houses mostly online, but when I saw and toured this one, I knew that I would be happy with it. I took advantage of down payment assistance programs available in my area that look to stabilize the neighborhoods by attracting stable homeowners. I got my loved ones on board to support me through the process. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My hair is short, thick, relaxed, and therefore sort of fragile. So I talked to my stylist and we agreed to only highlight the bangs with red. I trust her opinion and style so I just went with it. It was perfect! It accents my short cut and gives it a little edge. I didn't go too red because I still have to keep it professional, but everyone loves it including me. What's next? Blonde maybe? Read how I did it…

I went to New Orleans with a big group from Atlanta on a party bus day trip. We left on a Friday night and returned Sunday morning. It was hectic. Drinks on the bus, drinks at 9am, partying at the club for lunch, party, dance, and even more beads and booze and boobs. It was pure mayhem. I was exhausted by the end of it all. By the time I got back to Atlanta, I slept until it was almost time for me to go to work on Monday. But I’d do it again. Probably not the day trip party bus thing, but maybe a couple of days, hotel stay kind of thing.
If all goes well, I’ll graduate in December. I took a Human Factors in Quality Assurance class this summer and it has been my favorite class. The main focus of the course was to examine human interactions with technology. It has made me look at the world around me differently, I have to look at how things are designed and how systems operate now.
So I have one course with an incomplete status that I need to get out of the way, and the 2 classes for Fall semester and that’s it! It went by so quickly.
