How I did it: I think I was inspired to make a blanket by the memory of the beautiful old blankie my gran's friend had made for me when I was a child. I’m sad to say that someone close to me has shattered my self esteem and made me hate her deeply. I know she has mental issues, but there’s no excuse for her behaviour. Childish, irresponsible and spiteful. I will not go back for more punishment, because I cannot reason with her. “Living well is the best revenge.” I read that somewhere on 43Things … thanks whoever said it – it’s a simple statement, but so true! So my aim is minimal contact with her – if I’m lucky I’ll only need to see her two more times in my life. (And hopefully they won’t be for a long time!)
