How I did it: I used the Michel Thomas Beginner and Advanced packages throughout. I listened to German radio stations online and attempted to read German language websites. WAHEY! The Buckingham Canal Society have a Community Tree Planting Day coming up on the 14th March 2010, I’ll be there!
My girlfriend and I just completed purchase on our gorgeous 21 year old narrowboat! 54 foot long, full of superficial problems but the hull and the engine are sound, so in the next few weeks we’ll be off touring the canals! In time we’ll rip out the gas heating and get a Morso Squirrel in there, maybe fit a compost loo if we’re feeling particularly daring! I can’t wait! :D
