The most difficult thing about graduate school is getting accepted, after that it’s embarrassingly easy. The school that you attend wants you to be successful and graduate (they really do!). Although it is definitely costly to obtain a graduate degree you have to think long-term. Three years after getting my master’s degree I’m earning $20,000 (!) more a year than I did with my bachelor’s. Sure, I’m in some major debt-I classify it as “opportunity costs”- but after a couple of years the degree pays for itself. A bachelor’s degree is becoming the new high school diploma. I would highly recommend going to graduate school. Later on in life you may not have the opportunity.

How I did it: I planted a variety of vegetables and herbs in pots this summer and for the most part they did very well. This has become a really fun and relaxing hobby. I also enjoyed talking to experienced gardeners to get tips. Read how I did it…
My grandmother has wonderful stories that I’ve never recorded. I bought her a “Grandmother Remembers” book months ago but she hasn’t finished it yet. I need to really keep encouraging her to work on it or even complete it with her. I’m visiting her this weekend and that would be a great time to get started.
I’ve been late for everything my whole life. If I get there within 15 minutes of the time I’m supposed to be there I consider myself on time. This is not good. It makes me seem flighty and irresponsible. It also keeps me in a state of perpetual panic.
