My awesome mother got me one as an early birthday present when my folks visited back in March. She taught me how to do basic stitches and shapes. Once my thesis is no longer eating my brain, I look forward to undertaking some more projects. Hooray!

Since it is waaaaay more affordable to obtain a postgraduate degree in New Zealand, last May I got in touch with a professor whose interests overlapped with mine. I had submitted a research proposal and enrolled by September, and yesterday was my thesis deadline, but thank goodness for that month’s leeway. Should probably stop procrastinating…
