I miss dancing on stage. I want to give it another go so badly. I gave up because the instructer was a nasty witch and ruined my dreams. In retrospect, I shouldn’t have let her stop me, but I was an insecure young woman.

It feels like they're judging you, so you automatically take the attention away from your thighs, or your nose, or your stomach, or wherever else you're self concious about.God, it took me so long, but I finally was able to stop hiding things about myself by surrounding myself with people who encouraged me. My boyfriend, Ben, … Read how I did it…
How I did it: It took a lot of determination. I finally got the hang of it after a lot of frustration. I ride goofy, so I couldn't turn left, aka turn from my heels to my toes. I had to practice a lot, and it was quite painful, but believe me when I say that it's completely worth it. There's nothing better than flying down the side of a mountain, the wind at your face, knowing that you finally learned to do something you've always wanted to do. Read how I did it…

I’ve wanted to go back ever since I boarded that boat to leave.
