It was a strange thing to move to this country and to be constantly asked (as if it was an acceptable thing to bring up in polite conversation) which church I went to. I used to be non-committal and say that I don’t really attend services… but now, well… I will not hesitate to reply that I was born an atheist and will die an atheist. I’ve never been to church, and I will never attend church. I don’t deny the existence of a god in general, but the Christian god certainly does not exist. If this makes me unpopular at work or in mixed company, so be it! I’m not willing to compromise anymore!

I think I could do it… I already have a collection of internet “fans”. I just don’t know if I’m vapid enough. I really only want to do this to prove a point. I’ll get back to you once I figure out what that point is.
