I got bumped to first class when my flight was cancelled. The guy in front of me in line was irate and belligerent to the desk agent, and I was pleasant to her. I think this helped, so she placed me in first-class to make up for my inconvenience. It was nice, but i cannot imagine paying for it. Pretty exorbitant!

How I did it: A Buffet concert is an absolute riot. Everyone there is happy (and drunk) and there's such an air of summertime exhilaration, it's amazing. I've been twice now, and I'm going again. I went when I was about 21 and got kicked out before it began, since we had been drinking Margaritas since noon. Then, we went last year (only took me 17 years to get there again) and it was a blast.
