I had the day off and hung out with my buddy Jesse. We went to the beach and skated for hours like we use to do back in High School. Then I went with him to a wake. We were able to have a good time and I’m glad I was able to be there for him when he needed me.

How I did it: I searched online for a chord chart. Then I searched for easy songs to learn(I recommend louie louie). And you can pretty much take it from there. The strumming is the tricky part. I need to learn how to do it....another way other than down.......? Read how I did it…
How I did it: Okay.....this was a good one. I have never in my life done this. First I checked showtimes, then I went to purchase my ticket. Having sometime to spare and some weed to burn I got high in my car. Later about 5 min. before the film started I floated my way to the theater. And that was that. Read how I did it…
I enjoyed his book “Dress your family in corduroy and denim”. He does not always portray himself in a positive way. Which I liked, he shines a light on his mistakes and makes himself relatable and likable by doing so. He writes about his family, childhood, sexuality and relationships. With a brutal honesty that might make you cring, this book had me hooked. I am now starting his latest book “When You are Engulfed in Flames”.
If anyone knows of any other authors with a similar writing style let me know :)
I am currently reading The Book of Disqiet by Fernando Pessoa. I had put this off for so long because I was trying to distance myself from the person who lent it to me. I picked it up again because I felt guilty when he asked if I had read it, and of course I haden’t. After having read a few chapters I regret having put it off for so long. This is the first book that I’ve read which (so far)takes place completely in the authors mind. It’s his thoughts and analysis on anything and everything and he says it best by saying “In these random impresions, and with no desire to be other than random, I indifferently narrate my factless autobiography, my lifeless history. These are my confessions, and if in them I say nothing it’s because I have nothing to say.”
It’s a good get away from my mind to step into someone elses.
