When I first tried this, it kicked my butt. I even bought the ‘knitting for dummies’ book. I had to look at other directions online to really get a grasp on the knitting motions. Even then, I found my own way to hold the yarn and needles, to make it easier for myself. It is not that hard, once you get the hang of it. And it is very cool to make stuff out of a lumpy ball of yarn!! Just, um, get started early, or that scarf for your hubby won’t be done till the spring!

My chickens finally made some chicks. Cutest crap I’ve ever seen. Then one day I went to check on them and they were dead. Something had dug under the wall and killed them. Nasty sight to find with my kids. So I will try this again once we can bury the chicken wire further in the ground.

I have 2 classes left to finish my Bachelor’s Degree. I am SOOOOO very excited about it, too!! So looks like I will be done in October! My plan is to get a job to save some money to open my own business. I am looking at being a sole proprieter by the spring of 2009.
